Trinity offers a wide range of programmes designed to encourage young people to get involved, learn new skills and make new friends. Our projects are open to all young people throughout Northumberland, aged between 11 and 21. We offer a wide a changing set of services.
Trinity has developed a unique curriculum, which is now the framework that all our youth services work towards, throughout the organisation. This is a diagrammatical view of how all services help to meet our vision of "Supporting Children and Young People towards independence". To show that at the start of a child’s "journey" within Trinity, they begin and stage (1), making contact with services, having fun, being in a safe place, taking part being part of a group and being helped to look after themselves. As they progress throughout the services, and over time they climb up the ladder of responsibility towards independence. The diagram shows how a child or young person will also work towards achieving the 5 Every Child Matters outcomes at each level of responsibility. By publishing this framework we can ensure that all our services work towards the same goal.
